This participatory drawing session will be led by Chip Sullivan, landscape architect and Professor at University of California, Berkeley. If you have ever been in the woods and felt a strange presence, or have looked for creatures under your bed or in the closet before you go to sleep, then you are familiar with the world of spirits, fairies, trolls, and elves. This presentation will begin by asking you to visualize an imaginary being that you have felt lives in a landscape. Chip will then demonstrate an easy-to-follow process for participants to draw and color this imaginary being. Once completed you will find a location in the Enchanted Forest to place your creation. A background drawing of the Enchanted Forest as well as step-by-step instructions for inventing and creating your imaginary being is available to download online.
