Jim Sipes is an award-winning landscape architect and writer with more than 30-years of experience in design, planning, and communication projects. He is recognized as a leading digital guru in the design professions. Jim has received national recognition for his writing, having written more than 350 articles, and books such as Digital Land (John Wiley, Fall 2007), The Bayous of Houston (Arcadia, 2012), Creating Green Roadways (Island Press, 2013), and International Water Resources (John Wiley, 2013). His work includes resilency planning, cultural resource preservation, environmental planning and design, land use planning, watershed management, urban design, and natural resource management.
