Scott Gilmore

For the past five years Scott has served as the Deputy of Parks and Planning for Denver’s Mayor Michael B. Hancock. Scott's role covers a  variety of areas from Park maintenance of 6,000 acres of urban parks; Parks Planning, Design and Construction; Natural Areas Management; overseeing  operations of the Golf Division; and management of the expansive Denver Mountain Parks which consist of 14,000 acres of mountain park acres, two bison herds, Red Rocks, and Buffalo Bills Grave and Museum. Scott's background is as a wildlife biologist and has always had a passion for connecting youth and their families to nature.
