Matthew McMahon ASLA

Matthew has focused his career exploring the intersection of landscape, architecture, and ecology. As an interdisciplinary designer at Snøhetta, this has meant drawing from his knowledge in architecture and ecology to arrive at integrated landscape design solutions that fully consider their relationship to existing and proposed buildings as well as their ecological contexts. He currently manages and leads the design of the Willamette Falls Riverwalk, a 22-acre post-industrial riverfront project in Oregon City, OR. Matthew received his masters of architecture at Princeton University and bachelor degrees in biology and landscape architecture from The Pennsylvania State University.
