José Almiñana is a principal at Andropogon Associates, a landscape architecture firm known both nationally and internationally for its ecological planning and regenerative design approach. Trained as both a landscape architect and architect, his collaborative work endeavors to achieve the highest possible performance with the least amount of resources. José is a SITESTM and LEEDTM Accredited Professional. For the Sustainable Sites Initiative (SITESTM), he served on the SITESTM Steering and Technical Core Committees for the SITESTM Pilot Project Phase. José is a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) and received the ASLA's President’s Medal in 2010.
