Robert Hewitt ASLA

Robert is an Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture in the School of Architecture at Clemson University, with faculty appointments at Huazhong Agricultural University in China and Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. He holds BA, BSLA, MLA and MCP degrees from UC Davis and UC Berkeley, and is a principal in HewittNassar Studio. His research addresses landscape globalization, technological innovation and landscape integration, and international education. Robert is the recipient of multiple awards for teaching research and service, including three Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture awards for teaching excellence, multiple ASLA design and planning awards, and has served as South Carolina ASLA President and Executive Committee Member. He is currently a member of the ASLA LARE Prep Committee.
