Dr. Edie Zusman Edie Zusman is Chief of Neurosurgery at NorthBay Medical Center and Medical Director of the NorthBay Center for Neuroscience located in Fairfield CA and serving Solano County. Edie specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of brain tumors, epilepsy, aneurysms, vascular malformations and disorders of the spine. She is specialty trained in Gamma Knife Radiosurgery, brain mapping, endoscopy, and intra-operative computer guided neuro-navigation tools. She started Northwestern University Medical School at age 19, completed her Neurosurgical Residency at UC Davis, and received fellowships in Epilepsy, Brain Tumor Surgery and Molecular Medicine Research at UC San Francisco. She has been recognized by her peers nationally and locally, having been elected to the American Association of Neurological Surgeons Board of Directors, and was named a top doctor by Sacramento Magazine. Edie completed her MBA at George Washington University in 2013 and has authored over 30 papers on socioeconomic aspects of healthcare. She serves on the Editorial Board of Neurosurgery, World Neurosurgery, the Institute for Medical Quality and is Past Chair of the Epilepsy Foundation of Northern California. Edie is married to her college sweetheart, Steve Pratt, CEO of Noodle.AI, and they have two Head-Royce lifers, Adam ’14, an EMG and Volunteer Firefighter studying computer science at Colgate University, and Abby ’17, an equestrian who loves physics.
