Mark Klopfer, ASLA, AIA is partner of Klopfer Martin Design Group, the firm leading the landscape master plan for Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston. The plan embodies hospital president Elizabeth Nabel's vision that nature be integrated wherever possible within this urban hospital, to foster healing and provide respite for patients, caregivers, families, and staff. Mark is Professor of Architecture at the Wentworth Institute of Technology and taught on the architecture and landscape faculties at the Harvard GSD, Cornell, and RISD. He was the Prince Charitable Trusts Rome Prize Fellow in Landscape at the American Academy in Rome in 2001.
