Shan Jiang is an Assistant Professor of Landscape Architecture in the School of Design and Community Development, West Virginia University. She received her PhD in Planning Design and the Built Environment (Architecture + Health) from Clemson University. Her research interests include people-nature relationship, landscape design for health, and evidence-based design of healthcare environments. She was an AIA Academy of Architecture for Health Tuttle Research Fellow, Landscape Architecture Foundation CSI Research Fellow, and the winner of numerous grants such as the Academy of Architecture for Health Foundation Research Grant.
