David Malda’s background in architecture, landscape architecture, history, and community development inform and motivate a dedication to public space. As a senior associate with Gustafson Guthrie Nichol in Seattle, David’s work focuses on the role that the design of landscapes can play in supporting public life. David is also active with the Board of Directors for the Landscape Architecture Foundation. David earned both a Masters of Architecture and a Masters of Landscape Architecture from the University of Virginia. In 2009 he was named the National Olmsted Scholar by the Landscape Architecture Foundation.
