Christina is a community ecologist, studying species interactions and natural community structure. She works on urban restoration ecology projects and has developed new approaches to secure coastal areas. In this work, ecological services for city residents are meshed with sustainable ecological structure on public and private landscapes. Christina has led environmental planning work for urban landscapes from Jamaica Bay, NY to Atlanta, GA. She has taught university-level courses in restoration ecology, marine ecology, and limnology. She has a B.A. from Drew University and a PhD from Rutgers, and has national awards from APA, AIA, and ASLA for her ecological designs.
