Principal, FILARSKI/ARCHITECTURE+PLANNING+RESEARCH

Ken is Principal of FILARSKI/ARCHITECTURE+PLANNING+RESEARCH, an award winning, integrated architecture, planning, ecology studio and workshop. He is an AIA Fellow, LEED Fellow, LEED AP BD+C, one of the first SITES APs, AICP Planner, Certified Floodplain Manager, Certified Disaster Assistance Trainer and Responder, and one of 34 individuals who are an AIA Fellow and a LEED Fellow. He serves on the LEED Location + Planning Technical Advisory Group, and a LEED and SITES Faculty Member. He authored the historic RI Green Buildings Act where Rhode Island became the first State adopting LEED, LEED for Neighborhood Development, and SITES into public law.
