Originally from the Netherlands, Paula Meijerink is a landscape architect and associate professor at the Knowlton School. From a social, ecological, and material perspective, she teaches and researches green infrastructural practices in compromised urban conditions in particular as it relates to trees. In Knowlton’s landscape curriculum, Paula introduced landscape testing through hands-on construction. Her academic work is aligned with her professional practice with WANTED Landscape where she works on changing urban hardscapes into more human and ecologically oriented environments. She gained a ING degree at Larenstein University, and a MLA degree from Harvard University.
