Managing Principal, Thornton Tomasetti

Eli has been with Thornton Tomasetti since 2000, becoming the firm’s youngest ever principal in 2009. During this time, he has gained diverse experience working on technical and creative projects around the world, including structural analysis, design, and review of structures such as commercial buildings, hotels, and sports facilities. One of his key strengths is combining new high-tech software tools with pragmatic engineering, innovative thinking and enthusiasm for collaboration. Eli is currently an adjunct professor at Columbia University in the Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics Department and has previously taught at Princeton University.
