Herb's expertise lies in the integration of environmentally sustainable technologies into landscape and urban design. As project manager for the George W. Bush Presidential Center in Dallas, TX, he facilitated the creative synthesis of the MVVA design team with the vision of former First Lady Laura Bush to create a 24-acre public landscape. Herb also led the new US Embassy building in Mexico City and Asian Cultural Complex in South Korea. Herb is currently leading MVVA’s multidisciplinary team for Toronto’s Port Lands Flood Protection project, a 168 acre waterfront park that unlocks 600 acres from flood risk for redevelopment.
