Chao is a landscape architect at Andropogon associates. His works focus on weaving sustainable design strategies into the built environment and integrating social and ecological dynamics at all scales. His career is centered on his expertise in stormwater management practices with various projects ranging from high profile institution campus planning and design, site-scale urban design to regional-scale master planning in both the U.S. and China. With a background of horticulture, Chao received his Master of Landscape Architecture degree from Ball State University.
