Dr. Leann Andrews ASLA
Leann Andrews is a landscape architect and global health researcher operating in the cracks of the profession halfway between academia and practice. Leann is Co-Founder/Director of the non-profit Traction. Traction’s award-winning work with vulnerable communities and environments is found across Peru, Nepal, Cambodia and the U.S. Leann currently co-directs the InterACTION Labs Iquitos program working with urban indigenous immigrants from the Amazon Rainforest to improve their health and restore damaged Amazon riverine ecosystems. Leann is a licensed landscape architect and received her PhD from University of Washington. She holds Affiliate Faculty appointments at Penn State and UW.
