Sustainable landscapes create ecologically resilient communities better able to withstand and recover from floods, droughts, wildfires, and other catastrophic events. High-performance landscapes have the capacity to protect and even regenerate natural systems, thereby increasing the ecosystem services they provide. These services are the beneficial functions of healthy ecosystems such as managing stormwater, cleaning air, sequestering carbon, regulating climate, and providing habitat for wildlife. Learn about design and development processes that align with the functions of health ecosystems.

Save 20% by purchasing the SITES CE package and receive a total of six GBCI-approved SITES-specific continuing education hours. The SITES AP credential requires ongoing maintenance every two years, including 30 total continuing education hours, six of which are required to be SITES-specific continuing education.
The courses included in this package meet the definition for SITES-specific education, which has an explicit connection to prerequisites and/or credits found in the SITES Rating System. The credential maintenance is the responsibility of the individual credential holder. Participants will need to pass an exam at the end of each presentation in the package in order to receive a certificate of completion for each course. Participants will need to self-report CE hours through their credentials account on https://sitesonline.usgbc.org.
The continuing education offered through this package can be applied toward general CE hours to maintain the LEED AP credential.
