Vertical concrete in the landscape can be achieved in many ways; shotcrete provides greater flexibility, a smaller carbon footprint, and a faster completed scope. Here you’ll learn the fundamentals of shotcrete, key components to specifying it, and how to advocate for it, and you’ll see its carbon savings with built work.
Learning objectives:
- Become familiar with shotcrete as a structural and design solution; it’s more than just an inground pool.
- Learn about the potential carbon savings with using shotcrete and see a case study of the same project with and without shotcrete.
- Review the key performance indicators of the shotcrete specification.
- Become fluent in the language of shotcrete; highlight the attributes of shotcrete to owners and contractors; develop workable details for successful implementation in the field.
