Elena Brescia has been in practice for over 29 years, dedicated to both public service and the creation of excellent built work. Ms. Brescia led the practice-related priorities at SCAPE from 2007 to 2019, focusing on contractual relationships, an awareness of our responsibilities as professionals, and clear and complete documentation for built work. Working closely with and learning from our consultants, Elena has negotiated complex contracts with public and private clients, advocating for the rights of Landscape Architects while embracing the responsibilities we have toward our clients and the public, seeking agreements that are fair to both parties.

Patti is Founder/CEO of LicenseSure, LLC, which assists design professionals with business and compliance filings throughout the U.S. and Canada. She advises on business start-up issues, ownership and business transitions, and licensing and compliance. Patti serves on the Board and Executive Committee of the Global Design Alliance and the Board of the Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation. She was named a 2022 Super Lawyer in Administrative Law. Patti also acts as Special Counsel to Zetlin & DeChiara, LLP, the NYC-based construction law firm. She received her B.A. from Pomona College and her J.D. and M.B.A. with Distinction from New York University.

Jaimee L. Nardiello focuses her practice on disputes involving construction, contracts, and environmental/energy laws. She manages litigations from inception and has worked on some through trial, developing and executing strategy, and advocating on behalf of clients in court. She represents clients in commercial litigation –winning dismissals, mitigating liability, and preserving reputations. Ms. Nardiello negotiates contracts in transactions for high-profile construction projects. She also advocates for design professionals in complex intellectual property disputes.
